Our Analysis
Chiropractic care can be described through two words: Balance & Tension. When the spine is out of balance, unusual tension in turn affects the nerves. Conversely, when life’s tension builds, the body and the emotions can be out of balance. The analysis utilized by TruCentered Chiropractic Care looks at the balance of the spine and the tensions stored in the spinal nerves. As tension builds within the body it leads to muscles tightening, joints locking and interference experienced between nerve signals resulting in a subluxation to present.
Digital Neural Scanning
In our office, a series of specialized digital neurological tests have been developed to aid in identifying where subluxations occur and how deeply they are affect the health of our practice members. The keystone of our examination procedure is the Neuro-Spinal Functional index (NSFi). This procedure is a powerful, non-invasive, protocol geared to measure up to five different patterns of tension and pressure that affects the spine and nervous system.
These five tests individually look at different aspects of the spinal-nerve system. When they are utilized in conjunction with each other, a single score, known as the NSFi is calculated. Ideally, this is the way to begin under care because it allows us to measure the changes and improvements as they occur. A higher NSFi score represents greater stability, comfort and efficient within the spinal core.
Chiropractors are doctors, not therapist. Although many of our practice members begin care for pain or symptom management, our focus is on discovering hidden tension patterns with the nervous system.
